Responsibilities / Tasks For our Division of Food & Healthcare Technologies, we are looking for a Field Service Engineer. Food & Healthcare Technologies provide solutions for food processing. This covers preparation, marinating and further processing of meat, poultry, seafood and vegan products, in addition to processing lines for pasta, baked goods, snacks, breakfast cereals, confectionery and pet food. GEA also offers spiral- and tunnel freezers, as well as equipment for slicing and packaging of food.
The offices are in Granollers/ Barcelona, but the work will be carried out in Northern Spain, therefore we are looking for someone based in Galicia ideally. Responsibilities And Tasks Work as Field Service Engineer all over Spain and Portugal, 5 days a week.Assist on breakdowns, preventive maintenance, inspection.Assist on Installation & Commissioning of new machinery.Knowledge of a wide range of machinery, packaging, slicing, processing, grinding, etc.Work as part of the FSE team.Get training for specific machinery and also for Service environment.Your Profile / Qualifications FP2 degree in Electronics, Electrical or Automation.Familiarized to work with customers, and trained to empathize with them.Strong capabilities (analytical/technical) to solving problems.Experience in working with capital investment equipment.Ability to work without direct supervision and initiative to plan time in a productive way.Superb customer facing and interpersonal skills.Flexible both in terms of travel and hours worked, focus on getting the job done.Excellent English language skills (both spoken and written) required to have a fluid conversation in a technical environment.We offer A flexible remuneration package.Work-life balance hybrid working model as a combination of home-office and working in the office.23 vacation days per year.Great work environment as part of a collaborative team.Internal training and career development opportunities at national and international level.GEA values equal opportunities.
