Description We are looking for a Field Service Engineer for our location in Cordoba.
As part of our team, you will focus on providing technical advice to customers including commissioning, installing, and testing of products/equipment.
Your responsibilities:Perform occasionally service tasks, identify technical problems and make analysis through remote or on-site activity for transformers in operation.
Contribute to customer satisfaction and maintain a good relationship with customers.
Manage internal and external customer communications about project warranty cases with emphasis on timeliness, accuracy and follow through.
Establish consistent project execution and warranty resolution procedures and guidelines.
Coordinate with customers, service team, operations, quality, and engineering areas of the plan to be executed for resolving warranty issues.
Coordinate, prepare and ensure that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for service activities.
Perform root cause analysis and customer reports for site interventions. Reports to be done in a timely manner and follow up when needed.
Review, prepare and approve purchase orders for materials and services.
Coordinate the preparation and submittal of OHS documents in a timely manner for site interventions.
Apply safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities. Report unsafe practices and incidents.
Communicate lessons learned and improvement actions to the organization.
Your background:Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
More than 3 years of experience in operations and processes for Transformers business.
In-depth knowledge of transformer construction and operating conditions will be a plus.
Work in a structured way, applying relevant methods, procedures, and tools.
Strong character, determined, result-oriented and have an open mindset. Deep sense of ownership to deliver the assigned targets.
Strong communication skills, with good spoken and written English & Spanish.
