Full time Location: Spain Reports to: Field Testing Manager Role mission: The Field Research Station Manager with a biotechnology focus is instrumental in driving our operations and advancements in biosolutions, bionutritionals, and biostimulants trials, contributing to the sustainable evolution of agriculture through innovative research and collaboration. Key Position Summary: Responsible for leading and overseeing the daily operations of our field research station in Picanya (Valencia · Spain). Playing a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and executing field research activities in experimental and agricultural trials, ensuring the achievement of objectives and efficient use of resources. With focus on biotechnology, specializing in biosolutions, bionutritionals, and biostimulants, this role involves coordinating advanced treatments on biotechnological solutions in agriculture ensuring the station's compliance with standards, and fostering collaborative relationships with colleagues and researchers. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Operational Management: Supervise the daily operations of the research station. Coordinate and assign tasks to ensure operational efficiency. Maintain and enhance the station's infrastructure. Research Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with staff and researchers to develop research plans and protocols. Coordinate logistics for field projects. Ensure compliance with safety standards in research. Resource Management: Manage the inventory of equipment and supplies needed for research. Assign resources depending on needs and projects. Stakeholders Relations: Cross-functional collaboration with other departments and functional areas. Establish and maintain relationships with organizations and local communities. Safety and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures. Qualifications/Education/Experience/Soft Skills requirements: MUST Professional training in agriculture or bachelor's degree in biotechnology, agronomy, plant science, or a related field. Previous experience in managing research stations or projects, especially valuable if focused on biosolutions, bionutritionals, or biostimulants. Well-developed coordination/program/project management skills. English skills to communicate at least minimum verbally and by writing. Good PC skills. Ability to adapt to the dynamic nature of agricultural research and innovation. Flexibility to manage changes in research priorities and emerging technologies. Autonomy and decision-making ability. PLUS Strong knowledge of biotechnological methods and field experimentation. Proficiency in biotechnological research techniques and methodologies. Familiarity with advanced technologies.
