Could you be the full-time Product Introduction Field Modification/Industrialization Engineer in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, Barcelona we're looking for?
Your future role Alstom's Product Introduction (PI) department is in charge of giving support to the pre-commercial service activities of the trains once they are delivered at the customer facilities after the production phase in the Santa Perpetua de Mogoda factory. Once at the customer depot, the trains are set up before the start of commercial service and during this phase and as well along the entire warranty phase of the product, the PI team, among other activities, coordinates and executes the implementation of modifications on the trains to harmonize the configuration of the whole fleet.
You'll industrialize modifications launched by Engineering in order they can be implemented in the field (trains) by Alstom. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Logistics for example), launching the purchasing of the requested materials, tools and consumables in coordination with the Logistics Support team.
Responsibilities Industrialize field modifications (FM) according to Alstom standards (e.g. special processes) compliant with depot infrastructure/environment in order they can be implemented in the depots. Dispatch documentation & liaise with the field modification team. Set-up/define relevant quality self-inspection tasks. Integrate respect of EHS rules (Environment Health & Safety rules) and any work-related processes. Take Return of Experience (REX) about first modification implementation and adjust/optimize documents & tools for cost and time. Participation in the modifications project meetings. Launch and follow-up the procurement and shipment of materials for the modifications to the depots. Follow-up the implementation of modifications in the depots. Remote technical support for modifications and other technical issues in the depots. Support the codification of materials in SAP. All about you We value passion and attitude over experience. Graduate in technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronics), preferably Technical Engineer. Advanced user in MS Office tools. Reading of industrial drawings, 3D, electrical schemes and/or cable lists. Knowledge in industrial processes and CATIA (or equivalent). Experience with ERP tools will be valued, preferably SAP (or Maximo). Minimum 2 years of experience in configuration management and industrialization Engineering. Field experience. Teamwork capacity. Spanish language professional level both written and spoken, English minimum First Certificate level.
