A. Merchandising Responsibilities
Ensures that all merchandising programs are implemented on time.
Attends to Merchandisers time sheet and other accounting problems/requirements.
Dissemination of information to his merchandisers.
Briefing/Orientation and Coaching Schedule to his merchandisers.
Allocates and distributes merchandising requirements (POS, supplies, etc.).
Implementation of the Code of Discipline.
Development or conceptualization of merchandising innovations/ideas and recommendations to client.
Recommends seminar/briefing/trainings further develop merchandiser's skills.
B. Operational Responsibilities
Sees to it that all cascaded projects are implemented properly and practice of standard operating policies and guidelines as mandated by client or Key Account Executive/ Area Managers.
Ensures that merchandisers/team leaders adhere to quality and flawless execution.
Conducts trade check and visit on a regular basis.
Discusses findings on his trade visits to Operations Manager and proposes action plans.
Provides regular feedback to client on their on-going projects performance and competitor's activities.
Monitors trade/outlet activities and special efforts such as trade bundling, promotional activities and various competitive merchandising and promotional activities.
Reviews activity reports and other required report submitted by merchandisers. Ensures that reports are accurately prepared and submitted on agreed due dates.
Submits progress reports from time to time and updates his Area Manager on the status of on-going projects. Ensures that procedures and mechanics of the projects are strictly complied.
Review payroll of personnel under him. Ensures that pay rolling conforms with payroll policies (Gross Pay, deductions, etc.).
Performs other assignments and functions which may be required from time to time by his Operations Manager.
Ensures that the Merchandising Guidelines are strictly followed and implemented.
He shall implement these in-store promotional activities according to the procedures set by the Client and AAI.
C. Reportorial Responsibilities
Monitor, Review and Ensure submission of required reports of on-going projects on agreed dates.
Ensure that all completed activities are supported by Post Activity Evaluation Report and submitted to client on time.
Update respective client's representative and head-office of the status of ongoing projects in his area of responsibilities.
D. Warehousing/Storage Systems and Control
Ensure that the warehousing Policies and Guidelines are properly implemented.
Conduct monthly physical count of the client's stocks and logistics materials (merchandising materials, supplies, POP/POS, and other related merchandising equipment's and materials).
