While in the FEP, you will develop in-depth technical expertise, lean thinking, and leadership skills. This is a unique opportunity to go through our in-person and online training curriculum as well as learning from experienced Technical Field Advisors with on-the-job training. You will gain hands-on experience and grow your career whilst traveling the world to provide power to communities. Upon successful graduation from the Field Engineering Program, you will be eligible for a Technical Field Advisor position working on Gas Turbines.As a Technical Field Advisor for Gas Turbines, you will contribute to the management of site activities including planning, organizing, integrating, and monitoring of resources such as labor, tools, and technical assistance. You will make decisions, apply concepts to issues of great complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning at customer power generating facilities. Furthermore, you will perform hands-on work and be responsible for the maintenance of Gas Turbines.How You Will Make a Difference:Maintain strong safety mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical requirements within GE safety standards.Manage, coordinate, and/or monitor Heavy Duty Gas site activities.Lead and manage on-site systems and equipment and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration after installation.Respond to requests for emergency repairs and services to troublesome equipment
