About Gas Power Business:
GE Vernova's Gas Power business engineers advanced, efficient natural gas-powered technologies and services, along with decarbonization solutions that aim to help electrify a lower carbon future. As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore installs, maintains and upgrades power generation equipment, enabling operators of the world's energy infrastructure to provide more reliable and affordable energy.

Let's Talk about the Role:
You will start by being enrolled in FieldCore's Field Engineering Program (FEP). While in the FEP, you will develop in-depth technical expertise, lean thinking, and leadership skills. This is a unique opportunity to go through our in-person and online training curriculum as well as learning from experienced Technical Field Advisors with on-the-job training. You will gain hands-on experience and grow your career whilst traveling to provide power to communities. Upon successful graduation from the Field Engineering Program, you will be eligible for a Technical Field Advisor position working on Aeroderivative Gas Turbines.

Role Responsibilities:

Providing on-site technical direction during start-up, commissioning, and maintenance on customer-owned power generation and industrial facilities.

Providing installation direction and routine maintenance inspection guidance, including repair and rebuild for equipment with varying sizes and application types.

Preparing job-planning documents as required.

Providing input for Daily Outage and Weekly Installation Reports in a clear, detailed, and accurate manner.

Communicating schedule details, project milestones, resource requirements, quality issues, problems faced, and tools/equipment to key stakeholders.

Special Role Requirements:

Able to travel extensively to and from projects and various field assignments.

Willing to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required by field assignments.

Skills for Success:
You should be fluent in English, with a strong technical competence and passion for engineering. You will also have:

A strong ownership and work ethic.

A desire to learn and problem solve.

A positive can-do attitude with the ability to communicate with internal and external customers.
