Job Description: Field Auditor A Field Auditor is responsible for conducting audits in various locations to ensure that a company's financial and operational practices comply with internal standards, regulations, and external requirements.
They assess records, reports, procedures, and systems on-site, identifying any discrepancies, inefficiencies, or risks.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and organize field audit assignments, including defining objectives, scope, and audit procedures.
Conduct on-site audits to assess financial and operational processes.
Gather and evaluate data from various sources, including interviews, documentation review, and system checks.
Recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Prepare detailed audit reports that summarize findings and provide actionable recommendations.
Present audit findings to management and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements, policies, and industry standards.
Work closely with department heads, financial staff, and external auditors to ensure proper communication during the audit process.
Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
