Sales Lead Development Representative (Italian Speaker) at Scandit
Scandit is currently seeking a Lead Development Representative to strengthen our growing, very international sales organisation in EMEA. Based in Barcelona, you will be a key part of our global business development team, offering Scandit's cutting-edge, disruptive software-based mobile barcode scanning technology and innovative data capture solutions to SMEs and mid-sized customers.
The Lead Development Representative (LDR) is an entry-level, foundational position in our Global Business Development department for newly graduated students or those with limited work experience. Scandit will invest in you and provide you with the tools, training, and exposure to our cutting-edge technology and exciting pre-IPO SAAS business environment, which will put you in a position to grow your career with Scandit. An LDR who performs well and completes our enablement programs will progress to a Business Development Representative role and later, if you are interested, to Sales or another area in the company.
What You Will Do Be responsible for all inbound activity, including following up on Marketing-generated leads.
Engage with prospective customers and qualify opportunities to ensure needs and solution align.
Appropriately route Leads to Inside Sales, Mid-Market, or Enterprise Account teams.
Set up discovery meetings for Inside Sales Representatives and Mid-Market Account Executives.
Maintain close relationships with Inside Sales Representatives and Mid-Market Account Executives.
Research, identify, and prioritise target accounts for prospecting activities, building prospecting contact lists and org/account mappings to support the Enterprise Business Development Org.
Acquire, update and maintain contact information within the CRM, providing the Enterprise BD team with information to ensure opportunities are understood and next steps are clearly identified.
Travel for training and/or meetings may occasionally be required.
Strategise with Scandit sales management to improve sales processes and find new, innovative ways to generate pipeline.
