Role Purpose We are seeking a passionate and strategic Head of Product Design to lead our product design team.
As a Product Design expert, they will be responsible for defining and implementing the design strategy, leading and mentoring the design team, and ensuring the highest standards of design quality and innovation.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading design teams, a deep understanding of UI/UX design principles, and a passion for creating exceptional digital learning experiences.
Typical Tasks & Activities Define and implement the product design vision and strategy that aligns with LearnWorlds' business goals, brand identity, and user needs.
Oversee the end-to-end design process, from user research and concept to final implementation.
Develop, document, and enforce design guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality across all product interfaces and experiences.
Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and validate design decisions.
Analyze user feedback and behavior data to continuously refine and improve the user experience.
Manage design projects, including timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing.
Collaborate with customer success & support teams to understand user pain points and incorporate feedback into the design process.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 3 Senior Product Designers.
Track and report on design team performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
Stay updated with the latest industry and design trends, new tools and technologies.
Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Industrial Design or a related field.
7+ years of experience in product design.
Experience in a leadership role will be considered a plus.
Strong portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions and successful product launches.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about both design and business challenges.
Experience in the e-learning or SaaS industry is a plus.
