Job Purpose: In consultation with the Country Managers and Directors, provide an HR function supporting the Company's plans/objectives. To ensure that the Company complies with the General Data Protection Regulation.
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all HR matters for the following countries: Spain, Netherlands, Italy, and France.Work closely with the Country Managers, Country Controllers, Directors, and Senior Management, providing them with support and guidance on all HR processes and matters/issues.Maintain an effective working knowledge of Employment Law and ensure the Company's policies and procedures comply with this. Maintain networking with the Company's solicitors and take their advice whenever necessary.Prepare Job Offer Letters and Contracts of Employment, and be responsible for the onboarding/induction of all new employees, ensuring the completion of all relevant documentation.Ensure effective communication and reporting with Global HR Operations and HR centers of expertise (C&B, Talent management, Learning & Development) and provide information as required.Update the Employee Handbooks, ensuring that all policies and procedures are brought up to date and comply with local laws of Spain, Netherlands, Italy, and France.Ensure Employees' holidays/absenteeism are up to date and assist with the Company's expense system.In liaison with Line Managers, ensure that the annual Performance Appraisal process is completed and from this process, construct and implement a Training Plan for Employees.Assist with implementing the Company's pension policies, health insurance, and other benefits. Liaise with the Company's pension advisors, health providers/insurers, and communicate with Employees.Ensure that payroll is correctly informed of any changes to Employees' pay and terms/conditions of employment and that all personnel files/records in Success Factors (SAP) are kept up to date.Manage letters/documentation/exit interviews regarding Employees' termination and, where appropriate, prepare references.Ensure that the Company complies with Data Protection Regulations.Act as HR Contact for employees in the offices in case of questions.RequirementsBachelor's in business management, psychology, or Human Resources.Minimum 7 years experience in an International HR role.Fluent in English & Spanish.Strong internal customer orientation and very clear and precise verbal and written communication; you are a good listener and can handle difficult conversations with employees.COFCO International is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.
