The hotel is divided into eleven low-rise structures ensuring that visitors experience a truly exceptional and natural environment.About the Role:An opportunity has arisen for a Sous Chef position to join our Culinary Department in Jumeirah Mallorca.The main duties and responsibilities of this role:Assist the Outlet Head Chef in the operation and administration, and has co-responsibility in the absence of the Head Chef in planning, organizing, and managing all activities within the Food preparation.Efficient and diplomatic in all situations involving any aspect of Food and Beverage where the reputation of the hotel is represented.Ensure daily execution of the SOP standards.Ensure the HACCP requirements are in line on a daily basis and implement immediate corrective action if required.Assist the Chef de Cuisine in developing menus, buffets, and 'specials' which meet the needs of the customers.Check all fridges and mise en place at each station at the beginning and end of each shift/service, including quality of stocks, to ensure a consistent quality of MEP.About You:The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:Qualifications:- Advance Food and Hygiene TrainingExperience:- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role or in a large-scale free-standing restaurant operation.- Experience working in luxury brand hotels and restaurants.Skills:Good level of English.Friendly, approachable, and professional.Demonstrates excellent supervisory and leadership skills.Works well under pressure.Demonstrates flexibility in working according to the needs of the business.Excellent customer care skills.Role: Sous ChefJob Type: Permanent, Full TimeLocation: Port de SóllerApply for this job now.#J-18808-Ljbffr
