Secheron Hasler Iberica is looking for a dynamic and motivated System Engineer to reinforce the team in Getafe, Madrid, place where the selected candidate will develop the activity.
We're seeking a System Engineer who will serve as a technician on customer projects.
The seniority level is adaptable to both junior or senior.
This role involves supporting fellow technicians with technical challenges and tools, offering expert advice to clients on various technical matters.
The engineer will also be responsible for creating technical documentation, configuring systems, and conducting functional tests.
Additionally, you will operate Secheron Hasler products on trains and provide training to both customers and internal technical staff.Your main responsibilities and tasks:Requirements management for creating the System Specifications.Generating the technical project documentation (for HW and SW).Creating configurations for onboard electronic products like e.g.
Event recorders, Energy Meter, Gateways, Speed Displays.Specifying and executing system tests according to the project requirements.Analyze recorded train data to achieve the functional validation of the project.Taking responsibility over the correct configuration control of the project, for both Hardware and Software.For some products, it can be required to develop a PLC based application.Technical interface with the customer and internal employees.Supporting the technical work of the other engineers in the project team.Supporting the customer in case of technical questions and problems during the customer project.Performing the commissioning and training of the customer, mainly in Europe.Defining test equipment and tooling requirements and ensure their timely availability.Support to RD for validation of new HW and SW solutions.Support to product management for standardized solution with 3rd party components.RequirementsYou ideally bring the following:University degree in a technical field (telecommunication, electronics...).Minimum 5 years of experience in related activities (applicable only for senior).Result oriented and able to respect the deadlines set with the Project Manager.Knowledge of serial line buses, ethernet protocols, TRDP/MVB/CAN network integration.System integration knowledge is a must.You can identify project risks and opportunities.You like to work autonomously as well as in a team.Very good communication skills (written and spoken).Knowledge of Spanish and English both spoken and written is mandatory, advantage is having German, Italian, French or Czech.Preferred qualifications are:Worked in railway projects, an advantage if the projects are safety-related in development.Good knowledge of railway standard EN50126, EN50155, EN50463.Advantage of security standards IEC62443-4 and ISO27001.Polarion requirements tool knowledge (or any other requirement tool).XML programming notions (other programming languages are also valuable).BenefitsWe have flat hierarchies and direct communication between departments and management levels is encouraged.
