This time we are hiring recent graduates with engineering, physics, mathematics, or statistics degrees to join our DevOps Team.The main focus of this position is the design and implementation of solutions to automate the code release.
Engineers make changes in AWS architecture with two principal objectives:Improve the platform to use new AWS functionalities.Provision new architecture for the new projects that are designed by the Solutions Architects.DevOps Engineers implement changes in the AWS platform that allow building automated deployments through the use of configuration management technology.
They deploy new modules and upgrades and complete fixes within the production environment.Some of the responsibilities will be:Creating Cloud-based infrastructure required by the Software team, primarily within secure VPC (Virtual Private Cloud) within AWS.Maintaining all company security compliance such as passwords and key rotation policies.Providing direct server support during various operations such as deployment and general production.Collaborating with developers to ensure new environments meet requirements and conform to best practices.Creating various types of alerts (also referred to as OpsGenie alerts) that monitor system health and report any issues.
When issues occur, the DevOps team resolves them or escalates to the right person.Cost savings/Cost Optimization is a significant part of their activities.They tag and monitor running instances and shut down anything that is not required, while also identifying the root cause of why they were not terminated properly.
Working with the DEV/STE team to deploy newer versions of the software in the Cloud.What are we looking for in this position?A recent Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related fields.Background in systems automation and Linux administration.Knowledge of three-layer architectures: web (Apache), engine (Tomcat/Spring), and database (MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle).Expertise across source control tools, continuous integration tools, and team management tools (desirable).Knowledge of cloud environments, with the usage of modern patterns like infrastructure as code or ephemeral servers.Concepts of AWS Cloud.Tools: shell script (bash), Python, JavaScript, Bamboo, Ansible, AWS CLI, AWS CloudFormation, Splunk, Grafana, CloudWatch, Docker, etc.What do we offer?Immediate incorporation to a dynamic and agile company with a growth and expansion project.
