At Wallapop we process daily over 4TB of data, consisting of around 1B data points.
We leverage a modern data stack, including mParticle, Optimizely, Fivetran, DBT, DataHub, MonteCarlo, Airflow, Looker, Amplitude, all within the AWS Cloud (Redshift, SageMaker) to serve over 200 data users across the organization (from product, business, and tech), powering over 1k analytical dashboards and tens of data and ML product features.Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, you will develop people, cultivate strong partnerships with Product, Business, and Technology leaders, and help infuse every decision with the right blend of relevant evidence, metrics, insights, and data.
Your team will employ a variety of methods to gain insights into user behavior, evaluate potential product initiatives, and generate innovative ideas alongside the Product team.What You Will DoStrategic Vision and Leadership:Architect and reinforce a strategic vision for directing multiple data cohorts, comprising approximately 30 professionals, spanning various sectors including Insights (User Research, Product Analytics), Machine Learning (Data Scientists and ML Engineers), and Data Platform (Data Engineers).
Prioritize scalability, reliability, and effectiveness in formulating and executing a comprehensive data strategy harmonized with Wallapop's business objectives.Cutting-Edge Data Solutions:Lead the development and execution of a resilient data infrastructure for distilling meaningful insights driving strategic decision-making.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of data processes.
