Description of the job:
A vacancy within a Fuel, Inerting and Fire Protection Systems Design Office as a Systems Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe.
The successful applicant will join the Engineering Department, Systems CoC. He/She will contribute to the development of Fuel Systems for the Future Combat Air System (FCAS).
His/her main tasks and responsibilities will include:
Contribute to the definition of Fuel Systems architecture.
Allocation of functions, requirements, performance and integrity level for the subsystems and equipment.
Systems, subsystems and equipment specification definition, under the frame of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE).
Hydromechanic, functional, performance and thermal modelling of system behaviour along with individual system components.
Liaison with various groups within Airbus: Flight Test, Safety, Chief Engineer's Office, Programs, Airworthiness, Customer Support, MAP / FAL on-site, Procurement.
Elaborating relevant documentation for airworthiness, certification and qualification purposes.
Support to testing activities: definition of test requirements, support for test execution, test tracking and test reporting (rig, aircraft ground and aircraft flight testing).
In-service and Continuous Airworthiness Support.
Skills :
Working knowledge of Hydromechanical Modelling tools under MBSE environment (Matlab, SIMULINK, Amesim, or similar) is mandatory.
Experience in Hydromechanical systems is mandatory.
Experience in Thermal Modelling is desirable.
Experience in Control & Monitoring (Electronic / Avionic) systems is desirable.
Experience in Data Analytics is desirable.
Negotiation level in English (both written and verbal) is mandatory.
