Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse PractitionerDescriptionBelow, we have provided a high-level view of what the role entails, with the complete job description discussed in detail during our interviewing process.Lead clinic staff, including X-Ray Technologists, Nurses, and Front Office Specialists, in delivering excellent patient care.
Provide guidance as necessary to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate on a daily basis.
Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees.Implement clinical protocols as outlined by CMO and Supervising Physicians.Maintain behavior that is compliant with Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including working knowledge of all health information management issues such as HIPAA.Order, perform, or interpret the results of diagnostic tests, responsibly prescribe medications, and educate patients on continued treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions.Perform therapeutic procedures, including but not limited to I&D, splinting, suturing, managing infection, and wound care.Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.Adhere to the Core Values of the Company: teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.Comply with Company standards of operations.Maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees; foster a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that results in positive work relationships.Consult with patients through virtual communication channels.Proven experience working as a Telehealth Clinician.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Additional Requirements for Centers of Excellence:Complete all required preceptor training to effectively onboard and train new hires in centers of excellence.Engage with Learning and Development to manage onboarding and training of new employees.Meet new employees on their first day in the clinic and facilitate welcome and introductions, facility tours, and clinic process overview.Partner with Learning and Development and new hires to establish a training plan and review training schedule.
Communicate with Learning and Development as appropriate.Submit weekly evaluations on your trainee's progress to Learning and Development.
Communicate training progress or concerns as appropriate to operations leadership and Learning and Development.Complete final evaluation and Proof of Proficiency form and submit to Learning and Development on the final training day.#J-18808-Ljbffr
