This is your opportunity to be part of the most innovative and passionate hotel teams in one of the fastest growing markets in the United States.Summary of Responsibilities:Reporting to the Fairmont Gold Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceServe and set-up all food and beverage presentations adhering to Fairmont Gold service standardsProvide service in the Gold Lounge and ensure menu and food presentation is in keeping with Fairmont Gold standardsDevelop and maintain strong Guest relationships to ensure Fairmont Gold loyaltyAssist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful wayProvide exceptional Concierge information to our Guests about local and area attractionsFollow department policies, procedures and service standardsFollow all safety policiesOther duties as assignedWashing Dishes and Stewarding part of Primary ResponsibilitiesQualificationsRequired Education and Experience:Previous customer related experience preferredPrevious restaurant experience as busser or server an assetPrevious PMS experience an assetComputer literate in Microsoft Window applications an assetMust possess a professional presentationStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesPhysical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:Constant standing and walking throughout shiftFrequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.Occasional kneeling, pushing, pullingOccasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and rampsWashing Dishes will be required on certain shiftsAdditional InformationWe are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit, and promote diverse talent.
