This pioneering company, with a history spanning several decades, is recognized for its significant contributions to a sustainable energy future.Your Mission as a Facility ManagerAs a Facility Manager, your mission is to plan and oversee safe, secure, cost-effective, and environmentally-sound operations and maintenance of large-scale facilities, either within a single country or across multiple regions. You will ensure these facilities maintain their long-term value while presenting a consistent, professional image. Your role involves implementing cost-tracking systems and working with line management to develop and monitor key performance indicators aimed at cost reduction. Additionally, you will execute the GeoMarket facility portfolio plan to align with the company's strategic goals.You will be handling these duties and responsibilities as Facility Manager
Supervise the Facility Management organization, assisting line management with budget estimates, cost tracking, permit and license requirements, and contractor selection.
Collaborate with Supply Chain and Legal to prepare contracts and negotiate revisions to contractual agreements.
Implement quality control programs using LEAN methodology to standardize and optimize facility performance in line with the Global Facility Management strategy.
Participate in planning, designing, and executing facility infrastructure modifications, assessing and reporting their impact on performance, and involving engineering and construction teams as needed.
Plan and oversee facility management services, including operating systems, maintenance processes, repairs and improvements, custodial services, and security.
Coordinate maintenance activities across various functions and departments to optimize personnel and equipment utilization.
Recommend cost-saving measures, including new sources, substitutions, improved systems or methods, service quality, and safety.
Coordinate contract specifications and manage Shared Base Support services.
Ensure consistent implementation of Property Management Standards, Engineering and Construction Standards, and Operations and Maintenance Standards.
Collaborate with line management on campaigns to maintain a professional facility image.
Regularly validate the Facilities Data Explorer (FDE) database and other portfolio databases, conducting annual Facilities Scorecard Assessments
Qualifications and Skills that will allow you to thrive as Facility Manager
Proven experience in facilities and construction management.
Strong understanding of budget preparation, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
Experience with contract preparation and negotiation.
Proficiency in implementing LEAN methodology for quality control.
Ability to plan, design, and execute facility infrastructure modifications.
Strong leadership and coordination skills for managing maintenance activities and optimizing resources.
Familiarity with Property Management, Engineering and Construction, and Operations and Maintenance standards.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with line management, engineering, construction teams, and other stakeholders
Additional Information
Working Days Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 9 am - 5 pm.
Location: Jalu, Ubari.
