Role | We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities intern to oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of our apartments in Barcelona. The ideal candidate will have strong organization skills, excellent communication, and the ability to handle multiple tasks at a time.
Responsibilities |Day-to-Day Operations: Maintenance Coordination: Help coordinate daily maintenance tasks, such as plumbing repairs, electrical work, and appliance replacements. Vendor Management: Manage relationships and keep tabs with external contractors and vendors, including scheduling appointments and reviewing invoices. Insurance Coordination: Work with insurance providers to file claims and trak them. Preventive Maintenance: Identify and Address Issues: Proactively identify potential maintenance issues and take steps to address them before they escalate. Schedule and Coordinate: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all apartments. Monitor and Track: Track the status of preventive maintenance tasks and ensure timely completion. Additional Responsibilities: On-Site Presence: Be available to receive and greet external service providers, such as plumbers, electricians, and cleaning crews. Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of spare parts and supplies needed for maintenance tasks. About you | You are currently studying and able to enroll on an internship agreement C1 Spanish level and C1 English level Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards Organized, able to follow up processes and to deliver fast follow-up Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable in working with cross-functional teams Able to put pressure on stakeholders for fastest resolution Previous experience in hospitality, property management, or related field is a plus Ukio's life benefits | Team buildings and office events Transportation card (transportation coverage for role that have traveling needed for their work tasks according to the internal policy) Breakfast at the office, fruits, nutrition bars, free coffee/tea and popcorn!
