Following recent growth, we have an opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team in this newly created role. The position will support the Spotlight Property Group team in the delivery of facility services across a national portfolio of large-format retail centres.
Within this dynamic role, you will be responsible for managing planned and reactive maintenance activities for Spotlight Group Holding's assets. This role will be responsible for the management of property asset maintenance, both soft and hard services, inclusive of cleaning, landscaping, building and handyman, plumbing, and roofing.

What You Will Be Doing: Manage facility services supporting the presentation and operations of our properties including but not limited to cleaning, landscaping, electrical, plumbing, and building works.Contractor performance management and portfolio performance reporting.Strategically manage the planned and reactive maintenance requirements of your FM portfolio.Liaising with service providers to coordinate quote requests and work orders.Review and negotiation of quotes.Liaising and seeking feedback from internal Property Asset Managers to ensure standards and scopes are meeting expectations.Conduct regular property inspections and supplier audits to ensure standards are being met.Review technical service reports and provide stakeholders with recommendations for facility management.Overseeing and project managing minor capital work projects.Ensure work is delivered in line with compliance and Work Health Safety standards.Act as the subject matter expert (SME) in the procurement of new services and during supplier contract negotiations.Conduct root cause analysis of various facility-related issues.Being responsive to the external after-hours contact centre. About You: Must have demonstrated experience in a similar or relevant position in a fast-paced environment with strong customer service orientation.Extensive knowledge and experience managing building maintenance or projects in relation to building services and infrastructure.Strong understanding of delivering facilities services and property presentation.Previous stakeholder management experience and ability to establish and maintain strong relationshipsExperience with building and property inspections.High-level interpersonal skills to influence and provide key information to support decisions made by a diverse stakeholder group.Strong communication and negotiation skills.IT Literate (knowledge of Microsoft products).Humility and a willingness to put yourself in the shoes of your team and customers.What's in it for you?
