F&B Events Coordinator - Six Senses Ibiza - (Islas Baleares)

Empresas: Six Senses Ibiza Responsibilities • Collaborate and assist the Events Operations Manager and Groups & Events team to plan events, including weddings, retreats, conferences, and other special occasions. This involves understanding client needs, creating event proposals, and coordinating event logistic. • Coordinate with all departments to ensure that event spaces are set up according to client specifications and that all necessary equipment and amenities are in place. This may include arranging seating, decorations, audiovisual equipment, and catering services. • Oversee the planning and execution of food and beverage services for events, including menu selection, catering arrangements, and bar services. • Manage the operational and logistical planning of all events and large bookings from the signed contract stage through to following up for client feedback upon completion of the event. • Attend and participate in the weekly BEO meeting, taking charge of the agenda and talking points. • Regular communication with the Groups & Events Sales department, Food & Beverage, reservations, front of house and operations teams to keep them updated regarding pre-orders and operational requirements/expectation for each event. • Be part of all pre-meetings with clients pre-event with Events Operations Manager to introduce the operations team and coordinate last minute details. • Proactively follow up with clients post event for feedback. ? • Follow Six Senses Ibiza standards and procedures. Skills and Experience? To execute the position of Food & Beverage Events Coordinator, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following: • Possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Hospitality, events, or related field and five years total experience in hospitality or hotels in the groups and events department or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Demonstrated proficiency in Food & Beverage operations, encompassing service protocols, wine and cocktail knowledge. • Maintaining current knowledge of prevailing food and beverage trends, coupled with a genuine passion for culinary experiences. • Physical capability to lift weight and maneuver furniture as required for event setup • Fluency in English language.
