Production of H2 (for CO2 conversion) will be studied through chemical reactions (Work Package (WP) 1). The tasks will consist in the study, in continuous and discontinuous bioreactors, of parameters that affect the bioconversion of substrates into bioproducts with high added value, e.G., lipids, carotenoids, proteins.RequirementsResearch Field Chemistry Education Level Bachelor Degree or equivalentResearch Field Biological sciences » Biology Education Level Bachelor Degree or equivalentSkills/QualificationsRequired degree: Bachelor (BSc) degree or similar (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology).Additional InformationEligibility criteriaThe following aspects will be evaluated:(1) The academic record (Undergraduate/Bachelor's Degree): will be scored from 0 to 3 points, taking into account the average grade of the degree. 3 points will be given to the best GPA and proportional scores to the other ones.(2) Master studies will be scored from 0 to 2 points, following the same criteria as for the BSc Degree.(3)Previous research experience and participation in projects related to the present project (valorization of polluting gases, production of lipids, carotenoids, proteins) and the optimization of bioreactors will be scored from 0 to 3 points (0.3 points per experience month).(4) Knowledge of languages (the candidate will have to prove a minimum level of knowledge, equivalent to the intermediate level of the EOI or B2) and it will be scored from 0 to 1 point (B2: 0.75 point, C1 or higher: 1 point). Knowledge of various languages is cumulative.(5) Personal interview (1 point) (optional, in case of differences in scores of less than 2 points): the candidates with the highest scores and no more than four candidates will be interviewed, calling each candidate at least 24 hours in advance. The committee that will select the candidate to be hired will be made up of members (professors, researchers) of the BIOENGIN research group.Selection processWHERE TO APPLY: UDC online services site.
