We are currently seeking an Infrastructure Engineer / Software Engineer to join our team in Valencia. The role in the Valencia office involves supporting the software development lifecycle by analyzing and implementing business logic within a large-scale cloud microservices ecosystem, adhering to best practices and standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage our cloud infrastructure.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless and efficient application deployment.Monitor processes throughout their entire lifecycle, ensuring adherence, and update or create new processes to improve and minimize waste.Utilize infrastructure as code (IaC) to guarantee the reproducibility and scalability of our systems.Promote and construct automated processes.Integrate security controls.Conduct reporting and monitoring.Monitor system performance, security, and reliability, and implement proactive measures to prevent potential issues.Seek opportunities to optimize costs while ensuring high availability and performance.Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to continually improve our cloud and DevOps strategies.Qualifications:Over three years of experience in managing DevOps processes at an enterprise scale, with a strong foundation in DevOps practices and principles, including CI/CD and IaC (Terraform).Demonstrated expertise in deploying and overseeing cloud infrastructure with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP).Proficient with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.Basic familiarity with data-centric frameworks and tools like Kafka, Confluent, databases, data lakes, or Spark.Competent in scripting, with a fundamental grasp of networking concepts and security protocols in cloud settings.Capable of collaborative work in a dynamic, agile environment.Possesses excellent problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to challenges.Outstanding communication abilities, encompassing verbal, written, and presentation skills.All new hires must successfully clear a pre-employment background check in accordance with NIST 800-171.
