Position: Supply Chain Expert Location: Zaragoza, Spain Date: 12 Dec Job Responsibilities: Manage local Spanish logistic activities and Third-Party Supplier for warehousing and transportation.
Supervise execution of warehousing tasks including Goods Receipt, Storage, Picking, Packing, Goods Issue, Returning, and Disposal.
Optimize transportation and distribution networks for finished Goods.
Manage supplier performance through systematic performance review meetings.
Seek continuous improvement in logistics processes.
Ensure active inventory management and alignment of stock with 3PLs.
Organize stock aging and scrapping processes.
Design and deploy new processes, best practices, and operational plans.
Check and validate invoices for final approval.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Collaborate on reporting and dashboards linked to the scope of work.
Manage local budget regarding categories, GL's, and cost centers.
Contribute to efficient inventory management.
Requirements: +3 years in an international Supply Chain organization in healthcare/MedTec industry.
Solid understanding of End-to-End Supply Chain Management.
University degree in an economical or technical field with specialization in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
Experience in logistics environment (+5 years).
Proven track record for vendor/contract management.
Experience managing supply chain indicators and processes.
Effective communication skills across all levels.
Result-driven and customer-oriented.
Analytical mindset with high problem-solving capability.
Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
SAP knowledge in ERP modules SD & MM.
Knowledge in Warehouse Management software.
Knowledge in planning software (SAP APO, SAP IBP).
Willingness to travel and possess a driving license.
