In our mission to deliver innovative and impactful products in the mobility sector, we are building the company whilst working with clients in exciting engineering and manufacturing challenges.As a Supply Chain Manager, you are responsible for strategic purchasing of materials, overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain process within BOLD and controlling inventory by identifying how much is reserved to use it. You are also in charge of the warehouse and organize the transportation routes while combining shipments where possible. You ensure that the flow of goods, services, and information from suppliers to customers is efficient, cost-effective, and timely.Responsibilities Strategic purchasing of materialsTo develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies aligned with BOLD's goals.Identify opportunities for improvement in the supply chain to reduce costs, improve payment terms conditions, increase efficiency, and enhance quality.Select, evaluate and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors.Negotiate contracts, prices, terms and conditions with suppliers.Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality standards and delivery schedules.Look for alternatives for critical materials and suppliers.Logistics and DistributionOversee the transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods.Optimize logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.Manage inventory levels to balance supply and demand.Demand ForecastingAnalyse market trends, sales data, and customer demand to forecast future needs.Work closely with sales and production teams to align supply with demand.Process ImprovementContinuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes.Implement technology solutions such as ERP systems to enhance supply chain operations.Compliance and SustainabilityEnsure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.Promote sustainable practices within the supply chain, such as reducing carbon footprint or adopting ethical sourcing.Collaboration and CommunicationWork closely with other departments (e.G., procurement, production, finance, sales) to ensure alignment and effective communication.Maintain strong communication channels with suppliers, customers, and logistics partners.Team Leadership and DevelopmentLead and mentor the Supply chain professionals, including buyers, planners, logistics and warehouse.Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Experience University education in Industrial, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent professional work experience.At least 10 years of experience in a similar role or in Purchasing in an industrial company.Experience in operating MRP/ERP Systems.
