The Senior Data Scientist will work closely with leaders across the organization to identify opportunities to leverage data-driven insights and drive business growth.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesHelp in the definition and execution of the strategic vision for the data science function, including the development of Artificial Intelligence / Advanced Analytical models and algorithms, the integration of data science insights into business decisions, and the optimization of data-driven processes and workflows.Develop data-driven models, algorithms, and tools that drive business insights and improve decision-making.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, both global and local, to identify and prioritize high-impact business problems and develop solutions using data-driven approaches.Establish and maintain strong relationships across the organization, both global and local, and communicate complex data science insights in a clear and actionable way.Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's data architecture, data sources, and analytical tools to ensure high-quality data inputs and outputs.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data science and bring new ideas and approaches to the team.Manage external relationships in technical projects where we might leverage third parties for specific business use cases, ensuring knowledge is kept within Almirall to maintain and modify the code if required in the future.EducationBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.Specific KnowledgeStrong understanding of data science concepts, tools, and techniques, including machine learning, statistical modeling, data mining, and data visualization.Experience working with large and complex datasets and extracting insights from unstructured data.Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience in SQL and other data manipulation languages.Proven track record of delivering high-impact data-driven solutions in a fast-paced environment.Fluent in Spanish & English, both oral and written.ExperienceMinimum of 4-5 years of experience in the data science field.Practical experience with the Big Data Analytics landscape and related tools.
