Position: Communications Business Partner – Education

- Direct reporting line to Director, CO
- Dotted-line reporting to Director, Education

Description:

- Single point-accountability: Working as an intrinsic part of the Education team to understand its objectives, challenges, and key initiatives. Being involved in the planning stage of upcoming programmes, initiatives, and courses well before the launch to develop communication strategies aligning with these goals, ensuring that all messaging supports the company's overall brand advocacy.
- Manage editorial calendar.
- Ensure resource and effort planning at CO to anticipate and service Education communications and marketing needs.
- Performance management and reporting: Track the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure impact. Creating a standardised reporting cadence on these metrics for Education and CO stakeholders. A key aspect of this is adjusting strategies as needed based on performance.
- Ensure flow of information between Education and CO, ensuring members are informed, engaged, and aligned.
- Internal alignment: Primary operational point of contact between the CO team and Education. Ensuring that the right channels of comms such as digital, media and events are activated effectively and in a planned manner.
- Act as a trusted adviser to the Education team on communications issues.
- Work as one team with CO to pull together digital, media, events, content and other pillars to create strategies and solutions to enable business objectives.
- Ensure effective alignment with BD Sales and other relevant teams.
- Content and Campaigns: Design and execute internal and external communication campaigns tailored to Education offerings through the use of a creative and dynamic communication mix. This could include launching new initiatives, managing existing programmes, etc.
- Create and manage content, including newsletters, press releases, social media posts, website content, internal communications, etc., leveraging the CO team.
- Coordinate and operationally manage external agencies, where required including budget and resource tracking, procurement process management, KPIs and performance tracking.

Candidate:
- Strong digital experience in social media role across all digital channels.
- Experience in communications agencies with a client service focus.
- Knowledge of the education business.
- Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and willingness to take on responsibility.
