Mission: IT Asset Governance considers all Schneider Electric's software, hardware, infrastructure, and digital information with respect to their specific influence within the Enterprise. The Global ITAG function sits within the Ethics and Compliance function of Schneider Electric.
The Mission of ITAG is to enable smart & sustainable decisions on digital investments aligned with the overall Governance Strategy & bring value to the Enterprise by maximizing utilization & efficiencies while reducing costs & risks associated with IT Assets. All while securing these assets by maintaining controls and risk monitoring to enable compliance within all Schneider Electric's organizations. Additionally, ITAG maintains a specific framework for IT & Digital Compliance to defend Schneider Electric from compliance exposures and financial risks. IT Assets are all physical & logical assets considered intrinsic in value & material in nature regardless of their associated depreciation or spend currency value.
Role Overview: The License Audit & Compliance Lead role is a key Commercial and Compliance role in ITAG, with someone who drives and focuses on developing, progressing and closing cross-services, complex settlement and commercial audits on behalf of Schneider Electric. Driving the design and implementation of additional controls within Line of Business to ensure sustainable compliance in anticipation of any future compliance inquiries from vendors and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities: Engages and partners between Publisher Compliance, Legal, Purchasing and Finance in settlement and contractual negotiation of Asset-related License agreements to ensure that SE obtains the most favorable outcome from external audit exercises.Acts as the primary point of contact externally and liaison with internal stakeholders like Purchasing, Business, Legal, Finance, etc.Engages with Stakeholders to design and implement appropriate controls and monitoring to ensure negotiated contracts align with Schneider Electric's strategic goals and drive additional value to the enterprise.Applies and drives the effective adoption of governance frameworks and strategic application to ensure stakeholder alignment while working to resolve complex licensing issues in attainment of compliance.Ensures an in-depth understanding of the Publisher's business, goals, strategies, and industry trends and direction prior to defining the go-forward compliance strategy.
