Our European practice operates through a network of four offices: Rotterdam, Munich, Paris, and Madrid, with a team with vast experience in a broad variety of projects across Energy, Civil Engineering, Oil and Gas, Power, Water, and Infrastructure, across Europe and other locations globally.The role: Driver Trett Spain is seeking professionals with experience in contract and commercial management, scheduling, delay and quantum forensic analysis, and project advisory. The successful individual will have a degree in engineering, construction management, or business, with experience in a contracting and/or consulting environment, performing project controls management and delay and claims analysis. Prior experience in a consulting environment is not essential but would be an advantage.You will be responsible for the consulting assignments assigned to you, and you will participate in the elaboration of expert witness reports (delay and quantum), maintaining detailed working records of methodologies and sources of information employed during the performance of all analytical tasks. You and the team will work to ensure delivering a quality product within established timeframes.Key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):Assisting with dispute resolution and claims planning matters on multiple projects, including construction scheduling, delay, and disruption analysis.Working both independently and as part of claims teams including lawyers, project personnel, and external consultants, to understand and demonstrate the driving causes of delay on large, complex construction projects.Managing multiple priorities and, when requested, independently developing and providing technical recommendations/solutions regarding scheduling issues and time impacts on complex problems.Reviewing revised project schedules to inform forensic evaluation of Contractor's delay claims and conclusions of legitimacy.Assembling and reviewing as-built data and developing a current as-built schedule.Performing a schedule delay analysis and determining the amount of Contractor and/or excusable compensable and non-compensable delays and/or concurrent delays.Providing ongoing schedule review and evaluation through project completion.Preparing a written report of findings and recommendations.Minimum Requirements:Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business
