An eagerness to contribute to the wider life of the College is essential.This position is NOT suitable for NQT/ECTs.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:To deliver high quality teaching and learning in line with the UK National Curriculum and local requirements.To plan, feedback and teach in line with school and departmental procedures.To plan, prepare and deliver schemes of work in accordance with school policies.To maintain a working knowledge of National Curriculum & other documents.To maintain records of pupils' progress including all statutory documents required by the UK DFE.To produce reports and grades for pupils as per the school calendar.To conduct termly interviews with parents to discuss and explain their child's performance and progress in school.To provide and maintain an attractive and stimulating environment in which to foster effective teaching and learning.To monitor progress and the effectiveness of class work and to evaluate and modify planning and teaching as necessary.To differentiate accordingly according to the students' needs.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:Have more than 2 years in EYFS and be extremely knowledgeable about the EYFS Framework.Be an inspiring, creative and passionate teacher whose practice is rooted in Quality First Teaching and will share our belief in the importance of supporting and developing the whole child.Share and demonstrate a belief in the Inspired approach to education where academic performance, sporting opportunities and creative arts are given equal status throughout a child's school experience.Hold QTS and be familiar with teaching and planning from the EYFS Development Matters and assessing against the same objectives.Understand the role that the learning environment (indoors and out) has on a child's learning and development and provides constant high level learning opportunities for the children in their care.Be able to deploy adults effectively in the classroom to have a positive impact on children's progress.Demonstrate high standards in all aspects of their professional life.Be excited by the prospect of working for a school judged under the BSO framework to be "outstanding in all areas" and explain what they can bring to that environment.Be able to adapt teaching methods to support and drive the progress of pupils whose first language may not be English.Be a dedicated team player, with a "can-do" attitude who contributes positively to the general working environment and possesses an eagerness to contribute to the wider life of the school including enrichment and extracurricular activities.Be a reflective practitioner with a keen interest in their own personal and professional development and enthusiasm for participating in CPD and peer learning opportunities.Be fluent in English and demonstrate highly articulate spoken, written & technical language.Share our strong pastoral ethos and be able to demonstrate a commitment to pastoral care and the crucial role all staff play in developing the "whole" child.SAFEGUARDING STATEMENTInspired Education Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.
