A job with global impact The role can be based out of our European offices in Copenhagen, Madrid, Bordeaux, Bad Nauheim or Milan or our US office in Columbia, MD.
As a Global Health Economist at Ambu, your mission is to support the sale and valuation of our innovative medical products. You'll achieve this by generating robust HEOR evidence and developing customer and payer engagement tools. Your focus will be on high-value segments, ensuring that our products are positioned effectively in the market.
Overall, you will be responsible for global HEOR projects, both upstream and downstream. Whilst two days will most likely not look the same, you will frequently be engaged in:
Upstream Products Valuation and identification of clinical unmet needs within target segmentsPerform health economic pricing analysesDevelop HEOR evidence strategiesCreate and maintain core HEOR customer/payer engagement tools such as Budget Impact Models and other health economic modelsCollaborate closely with environmental economists, product management, marketing, R&D, and local HEMA teamsSupport localization of core HE models and materialsDownstream Products Assist target sales territories in executing the HEOR evidence strategyDesign or oversee lighthouse HEOR studies during product launchesProvide global HEOR project oversight and downstream supportLeverage real-world evidence (RWE) to expand product adoption in target segmentsYou will join the Global Health Economics & Market Access team, reporting to the Head of the function. Travel is expected, approximately 20 days per year.
Suggested candidate profile To be successful in this role, we imagine you have an advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Health Economics, Public Health, or a related field. Additionally, you carry strong experience, ideally 5+ years, within relevant HEOR experience from MedTech, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare governance entities.
