We are looking for an Experience and Interaction Design Lead to join our in-house Creative and Design Studio. Reporting to the Head of Creative Studio, the Experience and Interaction Design Team Lead is responsible for guiding and managing a team of designers in creating user-centered designs for digital products and services. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in user experience (UX) and interaction design (IxD) who can ensure the highest quality of design output while fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for driving seamless and customer-centric experiences.Your roleAs an Experience and Interaction Design Lead, your main responsibilities will involve:Effectively lead and manage a team of UX and UI designers to ensure high quality and performance standards are met.Foster a positive and productive team environment, encouraging creativity and innovation.Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.Be up to date on latest industry trends, innovations, tools, and technologies for UX/UI, and ensure the whole team is informed.Develop and implement design strategies that align with business goals and user needs.Deliver across the UX/UI process, from information architecture, user flows, wireframes, mockups, to final high-fidelity prototypes.Ensure consistency and quality across all design deliverables.Work closely with our Zurich Design System team to ensure correct usage and contribute to its evolution.Collaborate with our Creative, Service Design, and Customer Experience teams to ensure all designs align with our brand values and customer experience standards.Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to integrate design into the development process.Guide the team in conducting user research to gather insights and inform design decisions.Lead usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback.Implement internal capabilities to ensure all design teams, including third parties, follow common UX/UI best practices and align with our brand guidelines.Collaborate with Business Units and engineering teams to review requirements and ensure designs are implemented as specified.Manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery.Prioritize and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines.Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.Advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization.Encourage the adoption of new tools and techniques to enhance the design process.Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency.Lead workshops and training sessions to build internal design capabilities.Your Skills and ExperienceAs an Experience and Interaction Design Lead, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field.9+ years of experience in UX and interaction design.At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or team lead role.Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar.Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Full proficiency in English and Spanish; German and other languages are a plus.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.Strong leadership and team-building skills.High attention to detail.Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.Empathy for users and passion for creating exceptional user experiences.BenefitsOption to work remotely within Spain, even up to 100%.Wide range of internal and external training opportunities.Ticket restaurant or flexibility to exchange it for other benefits.Life and accident insurance.Collective life retirement plan.Special banking and insurance conditions plus exclusive employee discounts.Functional diversity benefits.Different activities like hiking, investment, beach volleyball club, and many more.Primary work location is Barcelona.
