Inventory management & stock control: • (Re-)Orders materials and/or equipment where needed, registers these in the relevant databases/systems, provides input on performance of suppliers and inspects, manages and maintains materials, tools and/or equipment on stock to ensure optimal availability for both production and delivery while identifying bottlenecks in the logistics processes.
Inbound goods and storing: • Coordinates the intake of incoming materials and/or equipment, checks and registers for quantity, damages, and completeness, and organizes location for unloading and storage. Ensures unloading/labelling of materials and/or equipment and stores items at the defined location/warehouse. Checks completeness and visual quality conformance of delivered materials to ensure readiness for efficient distribution to internal customers.
Order handling: • Receives and processes orders from internal and external customers, selects, checks, packs, and distributes the required materials to the appropriate location, either in cooperation with warehouse staff or directly, to ensure efficient, timely, and correct delivery of materials.
Outbound goods and transport planning scheduling: • Ensures that goods and materials are transport-ready, including dispatch/delivery papers for drivers and arranging transportation. Supports routing and scheduling of vehicles based on customer records to meet expectations and optimize scheduling.
Systems and Administration: • Executes the administrative intake and distribution of materials in relevant systems, registration of hours, and logistics administration to provide reports to stakeholders, ensuring up-to-date administration and insight into availability and throughput of materials.
• Ensures that order handling, quotations, administration, supporting IT systems, and maintenance of master data align with Nutreco standards to achieve high-quality logistics processes.
Customer satisfaction: • Manages customer relationships, ensuring that all customer requests are handled appropriately to maintain confidence and achieve positive customer feedback.
Continuous improvement: • Monitors, measures, benchmarks, and evaluates internal and external logistics processes, initiating and implementing changes for continuous optimization and alignment of logistics processes.
Compliance: • Ensures compliance with all operating, safety, quality, risk, and health regulations.
Other duties: • May perform a wide range of other warehouse/logistics support and administrative tasks and special project duties as assigned.
