Currently House of Shipping is recruiting for a Executive - Accounts for one of its client a Leading global container liner company.
Job purpose: To ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts, finalisation, process improvements and ad-hoc tasks from time to time.
Main tasks and responsibilities: • Prepare and finalise monthly and financial statements in a timely manner.
• Process accounts receivable payments, send weekly statements of accounts to customers, and follow up with payment collection.
• Review and validate sales invoices generated.
• Generate non-operational invoices as needed.
• Ensure the completeness of sales invoices for all accounting periods.
• Conduct reconciliation of vendor statements and proactively resolve any disputes.
• Assist in handling monthly inter-company transactions and maintain balance schedules.
• Process vendors' invoices and ensure their verification, approval, and recording for all accounting periods.
• Manage the timely closing process and perform reconciliations, including intercompany transactions.
• Maintain proper documentation and organise filing systems.
