Grow personally & professionally Benevity is looking for an Events and Experiences Manager who can help us create memorable events that will elevate Benevity's brand and drive business results. Using curiosity, critical thinking, and project management skills, this role is an integral member of the team that produces our highly-rated annual conference, Benevity Live! and smaller events around the globe to support relationships with our key stakeholders. What you'll do: Manage the planning and execution of global events - an annual event in London and smaller gatherings across Europe and North America. Manage vendors and agencies, support content/agenda planning, coordinate volunteer opportunities and create unforgettable networking experiences. Negotiate mutually beneficial agreements with partners, venues, caterers, AV companies, printers, and promotions companies around the globe. Develop integrated event strategies and detailed plans to help increase brand awareness, generate leads, nurture relationships, and create positive client experiences. Develop post-event surveys, manage post-event feedback, report on the impact for each event and use insights to plan and execute more effective events. Support the experience of our annual conference, Benevity Live! What you'll bring: 5-7+ years' experience in an event management role A degree in marketing, an events management certificate, or a special event designation such as CMP, CSEP, CTSM or comparable experience Experience in creating overall event strategy including integrated marketing communication plans to drive registration Excellent project management skills, strong ability to problem solve, multi-task and perform under tight timelines Strong communication, writing, presentation skills, and a high level of creativity and collaboration A passion to seek out the best catering, events, entertainment and industry trends Attention to detail and experience using event design to engage all the senses and bring an event from great to outstanding Strong negotiation skills with vendors to get the maximum value for our investment Must be able to travel occasionally to Europe and the US to support key events Experience with cloud-based software including Salesforce, Marketo and Cvent an asset B2B SaaS experience an asset but not required Join a company where DEIB isn't a buzzword: Diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging are part of Benevity's DNA.
