The Event Manager will lead these efforts and ensure gatherings are effective, cost-efficient, and most importantly, memorable.

Location: EU (Spain, Portugal)

Essential Functions: Conceptualize, plan, and execute events, conferences, and tradeshows from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and objectivesCreate innovative event concepts to enhance the ROI of eventsPrepare Budgets, obtain approvals, and ensure adherenceTrack and report back the ROI of all eventsEnsure a strong end-to-end lead process is in place and adhered to for various eventsSource and negotiate with vendors and suppliersExecute promotional activities around the event including Social Media and contribute to the creation of event-related contentManage event inventory including swag, booth displays, and marketing collateral for global events. Coordinate shipping of event materials for all events globallyCoordinate travel and lodging for participants as neededActively arrange Cloudbeds speaking engagements and sponsorship opportunities related to industry events and industry associationsResearch new opportunities and competitors' engagement concerning conferences, exhibits, associations, and events and make recommendations to improve Cloudbeds' engagement Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Strong Communication and Marketing skillsExcellent Project Management track recordStrong Leadership skillsHighly Organized & Multi-tasker and keen to keep learning new technologiesA customer-service mindset. You care about creating meaningful experiences for stakeholdersA positive and outgoing attitudeClear verbal and written communication skillsA drive for results, clearly focused on strategy executionBeing a collaborative team playerBusiness-level Spanish and English fluency requiredAbility to successfully exhibit Cloudbeds' core values (Grit, Kaizen, Discovery, Stronger together, Welcoming, Presence, Mop bucket attitude, Positive intent) Education & Experience: 3+ years of experience in organizing trade shows, conferences, and events is requiredUniversity Degree in Events, Public Relations, Communication, Hospitality or a similar area of study preferred Working Conditions: You will primarily work remotely from a home officeThe requirement to travel is 10% of the timePhysical demands of the job include: remaining in a stationary position for extended periods of time; constantly operating a computer; occasionally operating other office equipment (printer, phone, calculator); constantly detecting, discerning, and utilizing programs and tools on a computer; constantly communicate and converse with others through computer programs and tools; constantly distinguish speech or other sounds over Zoom, telephone, etc.
