As the Events & Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in generating revenue from our conference space and leading our sales team to achieve ambitious goals.

Purpose of the Role: The Events & Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue through the sale of our conference space and coordinating the efforts of the sales team, whose main goal is to generate income from memberships.
This role involves meeting quarterly sales targets, both for the event space and memberships, while displaying a passion for the events industry and a strong background in event delivery and logistics.
You will need a commercial mindset, identifying and delivering on opportunities for revenue growth through strategic planning.
This multifaceted role encompasses sales strategy, financial planning, marketing, communications, and operational delivery, demanding excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
What you'll be responsible for: Responding to sales inquiries and processing room bookings.
Proactively selling the venue to new clients and managing existing accounts to grow revenue.
Actively seeking and supporting marketing opportunities for the venue.
Monitoring the sales team's performance and supervising the inquiry handling process to ensure high conversion rates.
Developing and mentoring individuals within the team.
Supervising event planning and delivery, with overall responsibility for execution.
Collaborating with the internal catering provider to meet client requirements and ensure high standards.
Working with operational staff to deliver high-quality events.
Analyzing sales activity and providing regular financial reports to senior management.
Managing client contracts, paperwork, and overseeing invoicing to ensure timely payments.
Maintaining and updating the client and prospective client database.
Regularly reviewing competitors to ensure the venue remains competitive.

Technical skills you need to have: Proven experience in event and sales management, particularly for corporate clients.
Strong background in event delivery and logistics.
Experience in cold calling, negotiation techniques, and customer relationship management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management tools.
Knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.
Fluent in Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
