European Purchase Project Controller [Cl-566]

The Purchasing Controller will be in charge of the following Key Tasks Responsibilities:Powertrain Project Management Coordination from Sourcing to SOP (Start of Production).Ensuring our buyers and suppliers are committed to achieving our objectives in the areas of QCDDM (Quality, Cost, Delivery Development and Management) to deliver project objectives.Promote participation from all areas of Monozukuri in order to maximise Total Cost Optimisation Total delivery Cost (TdC).Actively manage sourcing activities from sourcing to SOP (Start of Production) via management of RFQs, key sourcing processes, quotation analysis and negotiations to achieve sourcing KPIs.Coordinate and administer sourcing activities for Nissan Purchasing Function including PDT (Project Development Team) and ARC (Alliance Review Committee) meetings.Background Experience:University degree.High Professional level of English.
Spanish required and French and/or Japanese could be an advantage.Minimum 3 years' experience in automotive.Strong accurate numerical skills, ability to use them for negotiation at macro and micro level with a problem-solving capability focus.Good communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written).Strong interpersonal skills for representing Alliance Purchasing Organisation (APO) Nissan externally.Ability to work effectively in a team and have a flexible attitude, structured thinking, good planning, and resilience mindset with multitasking capabilities.Excellent team spirit, organisation and administrative skills with ability to work to tight deadlines with a positive attitude and a proactive and dynamic personality.Good level of MS Office computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).An openness towards national and international business travel following Nissan travel policies.Experience working in a multi-cultural and cross-functional team environment desired.Experience in Supplier Management, Project Management, Cost Reduction Activities with Purchasing, Business Administration, Finance or Engineering background could be an advantage.Location: Barcelona, Spain #J-18808-Ljbffr
