Job Purpose: As a member of TD SYNNEX GCC EU Central Operations, the Business Operations Manager has commercial and operational ownership by collaborating with all relevant business functions to deliver best in class systems, tools, processes, financial data integrity and reporting. He/she is responsible for the relationship with the vendor Sell-in and inventory planning, supply and maintenance in order to maximize sales, optimize profit and service levels based on a deep knowledge on vendor(s), products, roadmaps and trends. Aligned with Operations & Procurement Management, Business owners and Finance,he/she will also support the Supply Chain transformation plans included on the GCC operational model.Responsibilities:Execute the Business Unit strategy in full alignment with the agreed strategy to grow profitable market share.Lead the vendor pricing strategy through collaboration with profit team to review price elasticity and handle exception management.Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to provide market reports and analysis, and using this data to identify trends to make sound business proposals.Ownership for full product and vendor lifecycle management, including system accuracy, product adoption & creation and contract management.Hold operational & commercial relationship with vendor key Business and Operation stakeholders.Input into quarterly vendor business planning and execution.Manage the order Product forecasting based on Demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory for which is responsible.Design Product Forecast - creation of demand plan and MRP maintenance.Create and maintain a competitive and comprehensive inventory profile aligned with the vendor and Customer needs.In close cooperation with the Business Owners and Finance, Purchase decision making; Order Placing and ETA control as well as Price accuracy maintenance.Control Inventory Level according to KPI - Inventory Costs, DOS and Ageing, others.Ensure gain optimization on Business KPI's through the purchase and inventory management activities.Manage the ageing and SKU control, return authorizations and scraping decisions.Manage availability on product roadmap and prioritize product opportunities as well as the interactions with Article Management for constant products update.Own vendors inventory cost accountability and report to Finance Teams.Engage with Vendors, Supply Chain operation in order to improve Service Levels.Engage in continuous Vendor Products and Category training to understand and plan demand.Recognition and appropriate escalation of potential problems.Knowledge, Skills and Experience:Proven experience as Product Manager or similar role (at least 4 years) in the IT industry (vendor and/or Distributor).Procurement Experience.Solid knowledge of Product Management and Planning principles.Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.Experience within a Supply Chain environment ideally in a high tech, high value international environment.Fluency in English, both written and spoken.Numerate and analytical.Excellent organizational skills with good attention to detail.Ability to work proactively and autonomously.Excellent written and spoken communication skills.Fully conversant with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.Academic: Degree on Engineering or Economics or Supply Chain.SAP, BW, SAP HANA, MS Access.What's In It For You?:Elective Benefits: Our programs are tailored to your country to best accommodate your lifestyle.Grow Your Career: Accelerate your path to success (and keep up with the future) with formal programs on leadership and professional development, and many more on-demand courses.Elevate Your Personal Well-Being: Boost your financial, physical, and mental well-being through seminars, events, and our global Life Empowerment Assistance Program.Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: It's not just a phrase to us; valuing every voice is how we succeed.
