Are you an experienced HR generalist? Are you passionate about people and renewable energy? I am supporting a European utility-scale solar developer in expanding its HR team. They are looking for a People Manager to overview their European HR activities. This position can be based in Madrid or Milan and reports to the Global Chief of Staff and Talent & Development Director in Spain.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with country regulations and the company processes and policies for employment processes (vacation, overtime pay, employee benefits management, health & safety, payroll, terminations, etc.).Supervise localisation and implementation of HR policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal responsibilities.Research, recommend, and implement new approaches, policies, and procedures for department efficiency improvements.Administer employee's leave and attendance and submit required documentation to payroll.Assist employees with questions regarding HR policies and procedures.Assist in implementing and monitoring performance evaluation programs and training.Maintain Human Resource ERP with updated employee data.Run reports from the Human Resource Information System.Oversee the full cycle of the recruitment process.Develop and oversee new hire orientation and onboarding process.QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources Management, Labour Relations, or a related field.7+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner.Knowledge of Europe's main employment laws, specifically Italian and Spanish.Fluency in English; Spanish and Italian proficiency highly valued.BenefitsHybrid working model.
