An opportunity for a Eurofighter Pricing & Contracts Partner has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).
The jobholder will be responsible for the commercial and pricing management of the Eurofighter Development Contracts by providing the expertise for the preparation, negotiation, and management of all commercial commitments of the mentioned Eurofighter business at all stages, from initiation (Bid/ No-Bid, RFP evaluation, building up prices, contract drafting and negotiation, amending, managing monitoring and closing contracts) to contract end.
Main ResponsibilitiesNegotiate Commercial Terms and Conditions and management of the Contract until the end of the project (e.g.
management of the contract amendments, payment terms, liquidated damages, incentives and penalties, monitoring contractual obligations performance).Lead the pricing calculations and financial provisions of the proposals: costing analysis, liquidated damages, commercial risk and opportunities assessment, project profitability calculations, cash curves, etc.Manage bidding proposals in cooperation with multifunctional teams (engineering, operations, services, procurement, quality), assessing contingencies (e.g.
risk assessment) and assuring the profitability of the bids.Support for the approval of the commercial proposals following Airbus DS internal approval process (RMC), including preparation of the Financial Business Case and Cash Curves Profile in support to RMC.Lead National Price Investigation with the Spanish MOD (National Price Authority).Support for Estimate at Completion Program Process, Business Plan and Forecast exercises, and ensuring profitability targets achievement.Identify new commercial opportunities and develop profitable bids for the Company.Ensure program/contracts targets alignment with division strategy related to financial indicators.Required SkillsMasters DegreeAround 5 years of Experience in similar positions with a Financial or Commercial backgroundAdvanced level in EnglishHighly Valuable advanced level in MS ExcelThis job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation, and sustainable growth.
