Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects.Role ContextAs a Cost Estimator, you'll participate in all activities associated with the Estimating Department function: Prepare TIC Estimates for all project phases as part of the scope of services in awarded contracts. Estimates from Class V to Class II depending on the specific project. Support Commercial/Sales/Business Development in the preparation of Engineering Services Bids. Develop and maintain existing estimating tools and databases. Participate in the implementation of new full-cycle cost engineering global tools and platforms. To drive our business further, Worley is currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Cost Estimator for our team in Madrid.Accountabilities:Prepare TIC estimates in accordance with the approved procedure for all phases of the projects from the agreed engineering deliverables to the appropriate level of accuracy, on a timely and cost-effective basis.Support Commercial/Sales Business Development in the preparation of Engineering Services Bids estimating workhours, key quantities, and TIC estimates.Review take-offs provided by the Engineering Department and checks for mathematical and technical accuracy.Prepare rationale statements to support the estimate identifying areas of weakness and or areas of risk.Carry out validation and verification of the estimates using high level norms and by comparing with previous estimates, outcome costs and vendor prices.Monitor current competitive prices, new techniques and cost trends.Accumulate, evaluate, and document historical cost data and construction procedures and methods to maintain current estimating standards and databases.Experience:Degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering. Process Design background is preferred.Professional competency level of English is mandatory.Must have a minimum of 6 years of experience in Cost Estimating having participated in early stages of projects (Class V and Class IV estimates).Experience in OPEX estimation will be highly valued.Interested in energy transition and new technologies. Experience in Green H2 preferred.Good team player.Excellent communication skills.Working Conditions: Spain based: Madrid offices or remote work.Available for travels, both local and international, as required (estimated < 10% of total time for proposals presentation, client meetings, KOM, etc.).Moving Forward:We want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
