We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist with a strong focus on database security to join an international and decentralized team working on innovative solutions for global database management.
This role is critical in ensuring the security, protection, and seamless integration of relational and non-SQL databases in a cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and regularly execute cybersecurity tests (e.g., penetration testing) for global Non-SAP database solutions.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, and Database Administrators (DBAs) to enhance the security posture of databases.
Provide expert guidance in securing databases such as SQL and Oracle, leveraging industry best practices.
Maintain high standards in cybersecurity for relational and non-SQL databases, ensuring robust protection against vulnerabilities.
Document processes and communicate effectively in English across international teams.
Must-Have Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in a similar role as a cybersecurity expert with a database security focus.
Proven expertise in developing, implementing, and testing cybersecurity measures (penetration testing or equivalent) for SQL and Oracle databases, beyond monitoring alone.
Hands-on background as a Database Administrator (DBA) with SQL and Oracle databases.
Technical university degree relevant to cybersecurity or database administration.
Proficient in English (C1 level) for seamless communication and documentation across global teams.
