Amazon is looking for a smart, ambitious individual to join our EU Public Policy team as an intern based in Madrid. Key job responsibilitiesProviding support to our Public Policy team in the monitoring, research, and analysis of a broad range of policy issues across the EU.Assisting with scheduling and preparing documents for meetings with EU policymakers and other relevant stakeholders.Supporting the Public Policy team in working with Amazon's business teams to ensure alignment between business and policy goals.Assisting in the organization of public policy events.Organizing and coordinating knowledge sharing within the team and beyond it.A day in the lifeYour paid 6-month internship includes:

A successful internship could lead to a full-time (graduate role) after finishing your university studies.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSSpeak, write, and read fluently in English.Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required.Speak, write, and read fluently in Spanish.University education as a recent graduate in Law, Politics, Social Sciences, or related studies (BA/BS required).PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- You enjoy learning by doing and working independently, are able to prioritize your time and support multiple projects at a given time. You have keen attention to detail; people call you "perfectionist" and you are proud of that. You see things through to the end, iron out the wrinkles, and ensure everything works well.
