Regardless of your role or title.Purpose of roleThe IT Project Manager is responsible for overseeing IT projects from initiation to closure. This includes managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery. The position requires a strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.Responsibilities of roleDefine project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.Manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed.Monitor project progress, and report status to stakeholders.Manage project teams, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing feedback.Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors.Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.Manage project budgets and resources, and ensure that they are used effectively and efficiently.Ensure that projects comply with organizational policies, procedures, and standards.Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in IT project management.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.Knowledge in SQL Server.Experience managing projects in a variety of IT areas, such as software development, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Experience managing project budgets and resources.Empathetic person, with excellent oral communication skills with all levels of the organization, negotiation skills, good conflict management and diplomacy.#J-18808-Ljbffr
