Reporting of defects ensure product compliance (check after rework).MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:The IQL Technician in Painting Workshop ensures the compliance of products and parts delivered by the ALSTOM facilities.
He / She performs inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures according to the applicable instructions on products ready for delivery and on products during their manufacturing process according to control plan per project and internal procedures (highlighting special processes).Accountabilities Authorities:Perform inspections and ensure product compliance (check after rework).Painting inspections of the manufacturing parts.Records inspection results in the industrial digital tools as required.Perform destructive non-destructive examination when required and qualified.Maintain inspection records per component, assembly and vehicle.Maintain Quality documentation for components, assemblies and vehicles.Participate in customer joint inspections.Preparation of approval and shipping documents.Control the correct calibration of critical equipment's and instrumentations used in the inspections.Analysis, studies and investigations of quality defects or process problems.Collect, check and save the self-control records.Edition of NCRs.Support manufacturing teams regarding the self-inspections.Escalate the incidents detected on the production lines and ensure their effective treatment.Performance measurements: Inspection method time adherence, Defect characterization, Management of rework, Achievement of KPIs (External Demerit and Defects per Unit) and targets.REQUIREMENTS:Educational: Associates degree, technical major preferred.
Must be able to read drawings / specifications and familiar with a variety of test equipment.
Qualified on special process of Painting.
Medium level of English.Experience: +4 years quality inspection experience within manufacturing industry.
Awareness on processes and products delivered in the project.Desirable: Knowledge in painting procedures, standards and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of railway industry.
