ERP Supply Chain Planning Architect - 6 months - Remote
We are currently supporting our global client in their search for a ERP Supply Chain Solution Architect. They are looking for someone with a supply planning background in ERPs such as SAP APO/IBP, Kinaxis, o9, Blue Yonder etc.
Duration: 6 months + possible extensions
Location: Remote anywhere in Europe
(If you are based in the UK, we can do an IR35 assessment)
Role: Solution Architect in global Supply Chain Implementation project. The person will design business solutions spanning across multiple applications and technologies - on a level allowing to define priorities, dependencies, project plan and experts' mobilization.
Key Deliverables: Solution Outline consolidating inputs from multiple silo experts into a single cohesive structure of a project. Solution Architect will have to prepare 10/15 Solution Outlines a year, each for new scope (new functionality, geography, product category) defined by business priorities. So skills of consolidating inputs from multiple stakeholders across business and technology, facilitating brainstorming workshops and progressive elaboration of complex concepts will be the key for success.
Key skills:
Good communication and drive. Ability to facilitate meetings, ask directing questions and elicit answers. Create online diagrams, tables, notes to reach consensus.
Wide literacy in information technology (not expertise) . Ability to understand inputs from experts, consolidate and document high level view of multiple silo designs
Knowledge in functional one or more areas Logistics, Supply Chain Management and/or Manufacturing . Preferably experience in projects related to those areas and particularly supply planning
Knowledge of some software design, architecture, project management or business analysis methodologies . Knowledge or certifications in those domains will be a plus. Ability to design with UML, or understanding of other concept capturing methods would be great
Seniority level : 7+ years in IT projects implementing systems in before mentioned areas.
