Idiomas ingles y frances.TasksKEY ACCOUNTABILITIESThe Group Equipment Engineer & Buyer has the authority and responsibility to acquire the new equipment required by the plants, evaluating needs, coordinating from the purchase to the startup of these machines, and designing and coordinating the necessary installations (electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, etc.) for their correct functioning.In order to adapt the investments to the objective of the project with the greatest effectiveness in terms of costs and the most suitable technological development:Be informed of market news.Know the needs of plants.Advise the plants on the most suitable equipment for their needs.Collaborate in ROI calculation and prepare Capex dossiers for subsequent approval.Request quotes and introduce improvements.Negotiate with machine suppliers.Manage machine purchase and delivery.Coordinate with plants.Startup and ensure team formations are given.Guarantee compliance with what is established by contract.Facility design and coordination of the installation of new facilities.Depending on the capacity of the plant, carry out the coordination function of the startup.RequirementsCOMPETENCIESLanguages: high English level and fluent in French.High level of creativity (out-of-the-box thinker).Skills to influence and work aligned with the different plants.Good communicator.Good project manager.Negotiation capacity with suppliers.Assertive, resilient, and welcomes change.Must be a take-charge person with a positive, proactive attitude with the ability to perform with minimal supervision.EXPERIENCEMinimum of 4 years of experience.Experience in capital expenditure management, including negotiation with suppliers and equipment design.Experience in the design of equipment and/or production lines.Successful supplier negotiations and contracts/long-term agreement execution experience.QUALIFICATIONSEngineer Degree.Commercial or purchasing Degree or Masters will be an asset.AutoCAD and Lean Six Sigma will be an asset.EU national or valid EU resident card.#J-18808-Ljbffr
