.Job Description:Are you ready to take on the challenge of becoming a Materiel Support Specialist in Light Transport and Mission Aircraft Materiel Services for Cross Platforms, India, and North America (TASML1) within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid)?As a Materiel Support Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our customers' Fleet Availability and Mission Readiness. You'll lead projects in the dynamic Cross Platforms area, covering everything from Operational Planning to Performance Improvement Initiatives and Key Performance Indicators Management. Your role will be pivotal in coordinating Materiel Services Centers of Competence, liaising with Procurement, ensuring Quality Assurance,and navigating Export Control and Customs Compliance.RESPONSABILITIESFor the Transfer Orders within MRTT and Light Transport Aircraft (LTA) Programs under his/her responsibility, the job holder:Will be responsible for launching all the Transfers Orders for MRTT and LTA.Will act as focal point for all aspects regarding material services for White Tails (White Tails - C295 Aircraft without a fixed customer).Support Performance-based logistics contracts for specific customers with regard to the launch of Transfers Orders.Ensure fulfilment of Materiel Support customer requirements.Responsible for maintaining clear direction and continuous alignment of MRTT/LTA Customer Services Programmes and Material Services strategies (targets and priorities), identifying potential issues and ensuring their resolution.Accountable to ensure all Material Services related activities are managed in line with Programme targets and policies (Time / Cost / Quality).Ensure actions are well coordinated within Material Services to anticipate issues and reach Material Services key financial and performance commitments.Give the visibility of the main critical issues, recovery plans, owners and impact dates to the Customer Services Programme and Material Services Management, synthesizing the actions which have to be escalated to the top Material Services / Customer Services Program Management.Ensure all Material Services risks and mitigation plans are managed in conjunction with the Programmes Risk Management process.Ensure that Material Services view is communicated and considered within the Programmes.SKILLSWe're seeking dynamic candidates with a Degree in Engineering (aerospace engineering preferred), experience in Materiel Support topics, and desirable skills in Finance, Improvement Projects, and Performance/KPIs management.
